CYCLE OUT HOMELESSNESS
5th Annual Family Promise Bike Trail Ride or Walk and 5K Run in partnership with AllOne Charities

 

LOCATION: The Weissport Borough Park, across from Mario’s Pizza, 200 White St, Weissport.  Registration begins at 9:00 am, 5k race is at 10 am, 1M fun run is at 10:45, awards ceremony slated for 11 AM. Join us for a fun event supporting a great cause!

Family Promise of Carbon County has been serving homeless children and families in the Carbon and surrounding Counties for over a decade. Registration includes shirt and meal ticket for the BBQ cookoff. There will be activities for the children free of charge after the race to include a bounce house, balloon animal clown, and face painting.

COURSE: FLAT, FAST wheel-measured course on mostly shaded D&L trail. VERY scenic & a GREAT place to PR! Clock at finish, post-race snacks, a BBQ meal for those that stick around afterwards, instant results. Rain or shine. No refunds or mailed awards.

ENTRY FOR EITHER EVENT: $25 if received by Saturday, August 20th,  includes guaranteed t-shirt.
After that, including race day, $30 while shirts last; $25 after they’re gone. All entries receive a meal ticket for the BBQ Cookoff. Check charity’s web site for a separate Cycling event to be held that day.
