This week, CEO John Cosgrove and Chief Advancement Officer Jesse Ergott represented AllOne Foundation & Charities at the Grantmakers in Aging Annual Conference in Long Beach, California. The conference brings together philanthropic leaders from across the country to share ideas, strengthen collaboration, and promote more equitable and effective approaches to supporting older adults.
John had the opportunity to present alongside Carla McCabe, President & CEO of WVIA Public Media, and Jason Kavulich, Pennsylvania Secretary of Aging. Together, they showcased the success of Aging Together in Pennsylvania, a collaborative initiative that uses the power of public media to raise awareness of aging-related issues and connect seniors, caregivers, and communities across the Commonwealth with critical resources.
With public media stations WVIA and WTIF, the initiative has produced 32 short documentaries, hosted community storytelling sessions and Town Hall events, and launched a comprehensive outreach campaign. These efforts highlight key priorities such as healthcare access, aging in place, transportation, caregiver support, and program navigation, all central to improving quality of life for older Pennsylvanians.
