On September 6, more than 1,000 runners, walkers, and handcyclists came together for the 4th Annual Wyoming Valley Run for which AllOne Charities served as fiscal sponsor. The event once again transformed the Wyoming Valley into a celebration of community, health, and philanthropy, bringing participants together for Northeast Pennsylvania’s premier road race. The race followed its signature 10-mile course from downtown Pittston to Public Square in Wilkes-Barre, guiding participants through seven municipalities and showcasing some of the region’s most iconic views along the way.
Community impact remains at the heart of the Wyoming Valley Run. Since its inception, the race has donated more than $35,000 to local nonprofit organizations. This year’s event supported five organizations serving residents across the region: The Cancer Wellness Center of NEPA, the YMCA, Luzerne County Head Start, Northeast Sight Services, and Ruth’s Place (Volunteers of America Pennsylvania).
The tremendous turnout of more than 1,000 participants reflects not only the growing popularity of the event, but also the generosity and community spirit that continue to define the Wyoming Valley Run. We’re already looking forward to next year!
