More than 100 runners and walkers woke up Sunday morning, August 23rd and put on their sneakers to support the Family Service Association of Northeastern Pennsylvania. The race is done in support of PA 211 Northeast/Helpline, which was established during the Agnus flooding as a one-stop resource center for information and referrals as well as crisis intervention.

The run was started to honor Pauly Friedman, a board member of and Family Service Association, and someone who did so much for the agency. For 15 years the 5K has been held with folks starting the run from the Jewish Community Center in Kingston.

AllOne Charities is the fiscal partner of this great event and has been for the last three years.
