On April 18th, Children’s Advocacy Center of NEPA held their silver anniversary gala celebrating 25 years of services to help children and advocate for them when being treated for abuse. AllOne Foundation & Charities was honored to be recognized as a “Champion of Children” at the event. Mary Carroll Donahoe was pleased to accept the award on behalf of the Board of AOF&C.
The Children’s Advocacy Center of Northeastern Pennsylvania is a private, non-profit, charitable organization whose mission is to provide excellence in the education, assessment, and treatment of child abuse and neglect. CAC/NEPA provides medical assessments and child forensic interviews for victims of abuse and neglect and coordinates a multidisciplinary team response to child abuse and neglect in Lackawanna and surrounding counties of Northeastern Pennsylvania. The Center provides child abuse prevention education to professionals and communities served.
