Group holds check at Ferrwood

AllOne Charities recently joined community partners at Ferrwood Music Camp to celebrate progress on the CAN DO Community Foundation’s Inclusive Wellness Trail, an innovative project designed to promote health, inclusion, and outdoor recreation for people of all ages and abilities.

AllOne Charities provided over $250,000 in support for the Wellness Trail through its Collaborative Philanthropy Fund, matching contributions from individual donors and organizations to help advance the project. A significant portion of this support was provided by Highmark and the Pasco L. Memorial Fund at the Luzerne Foundation, reflecting a shared commitment to expanding accessible wellness opportunities throughout the region.

Originally envisioned to support an inclusive camp program serving children with autism and other developmental differences alongside their peers, the trail quickly emerged as a broader community need. Once completed, the Inclusive Wellness Trail will offer a free, welcoming space for residents and visitors to enjoy nature, physical activity, and quiet reflection.

Designed with ADA-compliant features, sensory-friendly experiences, and native landscapes, the trail will create opportunities for outdoor recreation and mental well-being while ensuring accessibility for individuals and families of varying abilities. The Inclusive Wellness Trail represents a meaningful community resource that will serve the region for generations to come.
