Group holds check for $100,000

AllOne Charities, in collaboration with the Sordoni Foundation, has awarded a $100,000 grant to Volunteers in Medicine (VIM) to help expand access to dental care for uninsured, low-income individuals and families across Northeastern Pennsylvania.

The funding will support growing demand for dental services by enabling VIM to purchase supplies, increase patient access, expand services, and provide additional resources for individuals who may otherwise have limited options for care.

This investment reflects a shared commitment to reducing health disparities and ensuring that financial barriers do not prevent community members from receiving essential healthcare services. In addition to providing free medical, dental, behavioral health, and specialty care, VIM addresses social factors that impact health, including food insecurity, transportation challenges, housing needs, and access to medications.

AllOne Charities has long supported programs that improve health and wellness throughout Northeastern and North Central Pennsylvania, with a focus on collaborative initiatives that create measurable community impact. Together with the Sordoni Foundation, AllOne Charities is proud to support VIM’s mission of providing compassionate, comprehensive care to individuals who might otherwise go without essential health services.
