NativityMiguel School of Scranton received a grant for $15,653 from AllOne Charities in support of the school’s student mental wellness initiative. The grant will help offset approximately one-half the cost of employing a School Psychologist for the 2022-2023 school year. Additionally, grant funding from AllOne Charities will aid in purchasing and implementing student assessments, reference texts and social-emotional learning tools.
COVID has presented students with challenges that they have never experienced before, including navigating virtual and hybrid learning formats, forcible isolation, anxiety, unstructured routine, over-exposure to social media content, and familial responsibilities to name a small portion of the struggles students have faced. To address these current critical student needs, NativityMiguel School of Scranton, with help from this grant from AllOne Charities, will enhance its offerings to students by working to empower its students in all aspects of
wellness, ranging from academics to social-emotional health to college/career.
