Rural Health Corporation of Northeastern Pennsylvania (RHC) received a $3,600.00 grant award from AllOne Charities. These funds will support the enrollment in the Pennsylvania Vaccines for Children Program and the purchase a Medical Grade Refrigerator for the RHC Shickshinny Health Center in Shickshinny, PA. The Health Centers provide immunizations to over 1,500 patients annually. Through enrollment in this program, RHC staff is entrusted with the acceptance and management of thousands of dollars’ worth of vaccines. Immunizations are a vital service that RHC provides to patients of all income levels with special emphasis on the indigent, uninsured and underserved. RHC is a Federally Qualified Health Center providing care to the community since 1971. The organization has six medical centers, three co-located dental centers and a homeless clinic with locations in Luzerne and Wyoming County.
